"Lack of Christmas Markets"

I just want to enquire why Basingstoke doesn't have a Christmas Market, especially a German one. A lot of my friends and I love going to them but i looked online to see when they would be coming to Basingstoke and I was shocked to see why there wasn't going to be one.

For the Christmas lights turn on I also noticed that it was booked for the same night as Children in Need, who organised that? Also, why was it the Chipmunks again, so repetitive.

On another note, why are there not many seats outside of Festival place, it looks fantastic out there now but there are not enough seating areas.

Lastly, why can't the smokers stand away from the doors of Festival Place, there is nothing worse than walking out the doors with children and you all getting a face and lung full of cigarette smoke, so disgusting..
