Why oh why do we have to have 'new improved formula'??

This new weather resistant version is not even half as good as the previous,lacks hold and just makes the hair wet rather giving a shiny finish with excellent hold.Where can I buy the old stock?? I am a mobile hairdresser and have many clients that use it and are (like me) really disappointed with the new formula...the new bottle doesn't 'spritz' either,it's more like a fire hose squirt !! I am going to have to do some research and buy other products totry nd replace the old formula. Emma..
