"Birthday card not delilvered 8 days late"

Poor child, lonely and bored by lock down and no card from us.

My husband but on boots and coat and took card to post box on Sunday night to catch the post at 9am on Monday to be received at least by the weekend.

Surely the contract when buying a stamp is for a reasonable delivery. It was to go from Basingstoke to Reading.
