"Daunting machines"

I am 71 and have witnessed huge changes in banking. I find the machines in this branch quite daunting but the staff is kind and helpful. However if things go wrong, because there are so few branches there is a long wait in the queue to speak to a teller. At present I have over £1000 lost in the electronic system which makes for more administration time than writing an old fashioned cheque.

Bring back those smiling faces behind the counter.
