"Corn silk - unuseable after 6 weeks."

I was so happy to find Boots restocking corn silk but my new compact (cost me £8) lasted only a week before the plastic tab broke of and I could no longer keep it shut. Having spent £8 I carried on using it at home not needing to take it out and about but then the powder cracked and parts of it came out altogether and now it unuseable. I'm so upset! Please can you advise - boots will not exchange it but I really feel it should last longer than 6 weeks.

Do Chattem even reply to these reviews? It's the information on the base of my pack but they don't seem to have an email address at all. .
