Dear Sirs, 
I am writing to thank you for the service I recently had at your garage. 
I was incredibly impressed by the honesty of your staff and the courteous manner in which I was dealt with. I brought my car to you as I had been advised that a repair was required that to the gearbox that was going to cost a considerable sum of money. When I brought it to you, you said it was simply an adjustment that would take approx half an hour and would cost me just £20!!. 
I understand that the motor trade has a very bad reputation as highlighted in television programmes such as "Garages from hell" but it is companies like you that put my mind at ease. 
Never will I use a garage other than Basingstoke Autocentre and I will be recommending them to everyone.
