"Under New Management but no change"

A review of The Winkle by Takkler - Wednesday 19th of March 2008

The Winkle is under new Management and they've done out the back bar a bit but unfortunately you cant tart up the local clientele who spoil the new landlord's initiatives - same mafia - the reputation still warranted. OK if you dont mind dirty looks when you walk in which is a shame because its great to have live bands but not if its only for the benefit of the few close-knit locals who think its "their pub" the previous reviewer referred to. Go somewhere friendly where they welcome your custom.
