"Doctors: great. Receptionist: rude & unsympathetic"

I have not long been living in Old Basing and have been welcomed in the village in numerous ways by numerous people.until I had to go to the doctors.

Once inside the doctors surgery I have been treated with respect & listened to & treated accordingly. I find the receptionist & I have spoken to several who are all very unfeeling, very difficult & not readily available. I do think it sad that there can't be someone on reception readily available to greet & deal with anything that can't be done on the 'check in' machine/computer I have come from a very busy surgery, where there is a check in machine but also a cheery receptionist..
